MYE (pronounced ‘my’) stands for ‘My Yoga Experience’—because movement is personal.

At MYE Studio, we honour that everyone experiences movement differently. Our team supports your unique journey by understanding your history, goals, and interests. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MYE Essence

Perfect for beginners or those looking to deepen their foundational practice, this class focuses on the core principles of yoga. The instructor takes extra time with each asana (pose), ensuring students feel confident with both movement and language. Depending on the theme of the class, foundational yoga concepts may also be introduced. Each pose is held for 15 seconds to one minute, allowing for mindful alignment, stamina-building, and strength development. This balanced sequencing helps cultivate confidence in both your body and practice.

MYE Centre

This grounding Hatha yoga class invites you to find balance, strength, and focus through a series of static postures. Guided by your instructor, you’ll move through a gentle warm-up, a standing series, and a supine series, all designed to activate your parasympathetic nervous system for deep relaxation. Each pose is held for 15 seconds to one minute, allowing you to build stamina and mind-body awareness. This steady, meditative practice helps you reset and recenter.

On Saturdays at 1:30, this class is open to everyone ages 12+ (ages 12-15 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult).

MYE Fusion

This high-intensity, low-impact class blends movement styles to create a dynamic full-body workout. Using small, repetitive exercises, you’ll engage your muscles, build endurance, and enhance flexibility. Inspired by elements of Barre, Pilates, strength training, and yoga, this class delivers a well-rounded challenge that strengthens and tones while remaining accessible for all levels. Modifications and variations will be provided to support individual needs.

MYE Balance

Find balance in your body and mind in this class which combines principles of yin and yang. Your instructor will guide you through a series of dynamic asanas warming up your muscles before offering a series of yin postures to calm your mind and lengthen your myofascial tissues.

MYE Flow

Move with intention in this dynamic, breath-centered practice that seamlessly links movement with breath. This fluid sequence builds focus, strength, and balance, while helping to settle the mind into a calm, meditative state. The instructor will offer variations and modifications, making the practice accessible to different levels while allowing for personal exploration. When the sun sets, the class is illuminated by candlelight, creating a serene and grounding atmosphere.

MYE Barre

This low-impact, high-repetition class is designed to build lean muscle, enhance flexibility, and improve posture. Guided by your instructor, you’ll move through a series of targeted exercises that sculpt and strengthen your body with precision. Light weights, resistance bands, and blocks may be incorporated to add variety and challenge. Whether you’re looking to tone, refine, or simply switch up your routine, this energetic class offers a fun and engaging way to complement your weekly practice.

MYE Stillness in Candlelight

Immerse yourself in deep relaxation with this candlelit yin yoga class. Using the principles of yin yoga, you will settle into 5–7 postures, holding each for 3–6 minutes in mostly supine positions. This extended stillness allows the fascia to gently release, promoting flexibility and deep restoration. Accompanied by soft candlelight and soothing music, this class is the perfect way to unwind in the evening and complement your other yoga practices.

MYE Functional Movement

This class enhances core strength, mobility, flexibility, and endurance through targeted exercises that improve posture, balance, and stability. Using a combination of bodyweight movements, resistance bands, weights, and blocks, you’ll build strength that supports everyday activities and athletic performance. Emphasizing proper alignment and movement mechanics, this class helps prevent injury while increasing flexibility and muscular endurance. Variations will be offered, allowing you to tailor the practice to your needs and experience level.

MYE Pilates

This mat-based Pilates class focuses on breath, alignment, and controlled movement to build core strength, stability, and flexibility. Through precise, low-impact exercises, you will engage deep muscle groups while improving posture and mobility. Resistance bands and other equipment may be incorporated to enhance intensity and variety, with modifications available for all levels. This mindful, strengthening practice will leave you feeling longer, stronger, and more centered. It is the perfect complement to your wellness routine.

 Core Fundamentals with Dawn

Train smarter and move better by unlocking your own strength and finding stability in your body. This workshop is designed for anyone experiencing back pain, tight hips, a weak core, or those who feel like their hip flexors are taking over every exercise. Whether you are new to movement or you want to get more out of your current routine, Dawn will help you identify your body’s strengths and blind spots.

You will explore how to retrain your muscle patterns so that the right muscles fire at the right time, creating more ease, stability, and strength in your body. Expect practical tools, personalized guidance, and an empowering experience tailored to what your body needs.

Group 1: Hatha & Run

Start strong, move mindfully.

This group kicks off at 3:00 PM with a 60-minute MYE Centre for Runners session. This hatha-style yoga class is designed to strengthen, open, and support the bodies of runners and walkers, alike.

After class, we’ll head outside to meet the second group at 4:15 PM for a refreshing 3km group run or 1km walk through the scenic trails surrounding MYE Studio.

We will all come back together afterward for a post-movement social featuring LMNT electrolytes and great community vibes. Ideal for those who want a deeper warm-up, mobility prep, and mindful movement before the group run/walk.

 MYE Studio X Okanagan Wellness Collective

Group 2: Run & Yin
Saturday June 7, 2025
4:00PM – 6:00PM

Move first, then melt into stillness. This group gathers outside MYE Studio at 4:00PM for a brief warm-up before linking up with the first group for a scenic 3km group run or 1km walk through the surrounding trails.

After your journey, we will regroup back at the studio for a refreshing LMNT social, featuring hydrating electrolytes and community connection.

Then it is time to wind down with a 60-minute MYE Stillness class, a yin-inspired practice focused on myo-fascial release, mindful breath, and recovery tailored specifically for runners. Ideal for those looking to move first and then settle into a calming post-run recovery experience.

Rather than striving for perfection, yoga is about moving with intention and mindfulness, embracing the journey as it unfolds.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Cass comes from a background in competitive dance, with extensive training in ballet and various other styles. Her passion for movement extends beyond technique. She loves helping others build confidence, break out of their shell, and discover joy in movement.

Cass loves guiding people to move in a way that feels natural and empowering. She completed her barre training through Barreroom in Kelowna and is thrilled to bring her energy and expertise to MYE Studio .

Bri H. Yoga Instructor

Bri moved to Kelowna with her family in 2022 after living in Guatemala for almost 20 years. She and her husband managed a mountain lodge and yoga studio where she completed her 200 YTT with Kula Collective in early 2020.

As a yoga teacher, Bri values providing a space where students of all levels can practice with comfort and non-judgment. She believes that yoga is so much more than flexibility and that if you can breathe, you can practice yoga.

Betty found yoga when she needed it most and it ignited a personal passion within her that burns brightly to this day. She wanted to be a light in this world that shone brightly on the path of positivity, personal potential, and inner peace.

Through the support of her family, Betty  pursued her certification to teach yoga with a particular focus on Viniyoga. She teaches  group classes, individual one-on-one, as well as corporate classes.

Her greatest thrill as an instructor is when her students share their personal journeys of physical, mental, and spiritual betterment. She feels blessed to have found her calling as a yogi in balance with mother, wife, friend, and citizen.

Gillian has hosted multiple retreats in Bali (everything & anything is possible!!!) where she shared opportunities + offerings for deep healing. WHAT IF I AM NEW TO YOGA?

At MYE Studio, we welcome everyone—no experience needed!

Our MYE Essence class is the perfect place to start. Designed for beginners and those looking to build a strong foundation, this class focuses on core yoga principles with extra guidance on each pose. You’ll have time to develop confidence in movement, alignment, and breath, all in a supportive and welcoming environment.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?

All class bookings, payments, and memberships are managed through the MYE Studio App available on the App Store and Google Play.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class starts to check in, settle in, and prepare for your practice.

Doors will be locked as class begins and will remain locked for the duration. All sessions start and end promptly. Arriving early ensures you can fully enjoy your experience without disruption.

HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS?

All class cancellations are managed through the MYE Studio App, available on the App Store and Google Play.

Class cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid fees.

MYE Monthly Unlimited Cancellation Fees:

  • No-show: $20
  • Late cancellation (less than 2 hours’ notice): $15

MYE 1 & MYE 10 Cancellation Fees:

  • No-show: Class is forfeited
  • Late cancellation (less than 2 hours’ notice): Class is forfeited

While we have a cancellation policy in place, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you find yourself in a difficult spot, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

No worries if you forget something—our studio has everything you need for a great class!

WHERE DO I PUT MY STUFF?

We offer small lockers for your convenience, and locks are provided for use during your visit.

We recommend keeping unnecessary or valuable items at home, as MYE Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

CAN I BRING MY PHONE INTO CLASS?

For a distraction-free experience, please turn off or silence your phone before class and store it in your locker for the duration of your session.

Being fully present benefits both you and those around you—thank you for respecting the space!

IS TALKING ALLOWED IN THE PRACTICE ROOM BEFORE CLASS?

To create a calm and mindful atmosphere, we ask that the practice room remain quiet before all yoga classes. This allows students to settle in, center themselves, and prepare for their practice.

For pilates, barre, fusion and functional movement classes, quiet conversation is welcome before class begins.

HOW MANY STUDENTS FIT IN THE PRACTICE ROOM?

The practice space supports 39 students and 1 instructor.

IS THERE FREE PARKING?

Yes! There is plenty of free parking is available throughout the plaza, plus city parking right in front of the studio for easy access.

DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS AND EQUIPMENT?

Yes! We provide mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for every student to support your practice.

Please wipe down any props after use and return them to their place so they’re fresh and ready for the next student.

DO YOU OFFER HOT YOGA?

At MYE Studio, we’ve intentionally chosen not to offer heated classes. Instead, we keep our space at a warm, comfortable temperature—ensuring an experience that’s accessible and welcoming to all.

DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE PACKAGES?

Yes! We offer exclusive corporate yoga, barre, or Pilates sessions designed to enhance team wellness, reduce stress, and boost productivity.

DO YOU SELL RETAIL ITEMS?

Yes! We offer a curated selection of yoga mats, props, apparel, and wellness essentials to support your practice. Many of these items are sourced from locally owned companies in the Okanagan or Canada. Stop by the studio to browse our collection or ask a team member for recommendations!

All payments are made through the MYE Studio App available on the App Store and Google Play.

CAN I BRING A GLASS WATER BOTTLE?

For safety reasons, please avoid bringing glass water bottles or other fragile items into the studio. If broken, they pose a hazard to those practicing barefoot.

We recommend using shatterproof or reusable bottles to keep the space safe for everyone.

CAN I REFILL MY WATER BOTTLE AT THE STUDIO?

Yes! MYE Studio has a water refilling station where you can easily refill your reusable bottle before or after class.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

Yes! We have three showers available for your convenience.

Shampoo and soap are provided, but please bring your own towel, as we do not offer towel service.

IS THERE MUSIC?

Yes! All classes have music and MYE Studio pays all music licensing fees through Entandem to SOCAN and RE:SOUND.
